So my homie Julio already wrote about the very same thing I was about to: The new American Apparel store in Barcelona.
Heres his piece from his blog:
"So yeah today they opened American Apparel in Barcelona and somehow it was some sort of a big deal. at first at was like wow now i dont have to go to nyc or london to grab some decent shirts and then i was like great now all this borderline poeple i cant stand are gonna rock the same tees i rock... just great.
I finished work over 4:30 and i was planing on getting some sushi first but Ruth showed up with some bags saying "Julio you are sooooo gonna love, it is packed of hot chicks", in my mind i had all those half naked girls from the cathalogs all over the places and then when i got there "pfffff" just a bunch of fags and people i knew chilling and laughing about their no chasing policy, because seriously THIS IS BARCELONA! gipsy land. Wen end up betting about how long is it gonna take until they have to alarm every single thing in that store (furniture included)."

In my personal experience, I tried to get some present for my girlfriend. All the underwear in that shop is "ready for porn" style, and every now and then we all need some pice in our lifes. So I asked to some close to model clerk, the girl was retarded and didnt understand really well my amazingly good spanish. Great. She was a foreigner. Somehow she maaged to say "Ask the other girl". I asked the other girl, who was anorexic or a junkie, and asked her for something sexy. Her dress was a plastic bag from the supermarket I usually shop at (Close ressemblance). She was cool thou. She helped me and she even told me what she considered sexy.
Got something, and went to pay. I got the "Boy short" for girls. And when in line...baaaam! This 20 years old guy with moustache and a head band who worked there comes to me and tells me "this is not for a guy uh?"... ... ... ...
...
...
...
"I know".
I paid and I left.

I will be back to get more sexy presents.
Also, I love to see these type of socialities who think they hype and cool and take for granted can live from their parents money forever.

Its a good blog to see what spanish locals do, and are about, specially people from Barcelona, but also from Madrid, and Vitoria (Que pasa Sergio!).

Snipers

A weekend of relax, videogames, sniper rifles and friends. And yeah, a heavyweight session of Call of Duty 4 (Saturday and sunday), even online!
Im getting some experience points to get better guns so watch out out there.

I went to check the last rifle from Moski, the best car shaper/painter out here. This thing was ridiculous, it even had some tripod legs and the plastic bullets were fast fast.
A nice view when you enter the body painting place and see a guy hiding behind one of these machines ready to shoot.

I had never seen, or known, of any presidential campaign so "out of the system" like this. A soon to be president, backed up by a lot of people into the creative world (Designers, actress, singers, musicians...), and a lot of videos, songs, videoclips to support him raiding the internet.
Amazing. Simply amazing. Never a presidential campaign was so creative. Ever.

Out again

South of Spain this time.
Its been getting quite difficult updating this blog for some reasons,one of them because of travelling.
This time the south of Spain will have me as a guest for a week, and then i will be home for some time.
Meetings and planning for already spring season. Talk about future...! So today the planning for like 6 months in advance begins, and u better have most of ur game set.
I do.

Lost again

Yes. In the north shore enjoying a weekend with friends,waves and surf. Its been my first time surfing, and let me tell you this surf thing is soooo hard but fun to do.
Besides surfing enjoyed a session of paintball and got hit three times when i jumped from a hidden position and went out Rambo style shooting in a capture the flag game.
You can see my chest today...got a third nipple. Shit hurts. And i was wearing some kind of bullet proof vest...
Tomorrow back to the city, and the next week out the city again for another week.

Stress

These days life is been kind of strange, with not so mny things to do and lots of stuff in my mind.
Someone posted a message about why I wasnt skating or why I never posted pics of me skating... the answer is simple, I barely have that many free time to be skating. Last time I skated was in the Amsterdam skatepark and I had such a rush and had such a good time...


And life goes on with trips cancelled, new stuff in hands and just a couple things I have in mind. These last months projects have been coming and leaving, and all I can think of right now is having fun and travel, see my friends and enjoy life.
My friend Chad might be crying right now. But thats the way things go these days.

And this new project finally jetted off and I wanted to drop the news before the official release is out: Skate Family is a new project based on a webpage/blog where some of the "old school" from the skate community will be blogging and dropping bullshit without any "politically right" approach. I will be posting regularly there, I even have a bio and pics! Amazing. I even look serious (Loving my hair cut thou!). Its entirely in spanish, and entirely shot with LUMIX Panasonic cameras (Loving that camera!). Expect big things from this project...besides tour pics and some nonsense.

New blogger

So I have the honour to be one of the bloggers of a new blog/webpage/magazine/whatever you want to call it that will see the light at the end of may. Im really excited.
The project is aimed to create a space where a bunch of skateboarders, industry related individuals linked with skateboarding will be blogging and posting everything they feel like. I can say that this is going to be a cool page, just wait.
The tools to do so is a new LUMIX camera, and my spanish skills, because is a spanish written blog (Finally!).
Hopefully my mistakes writing will be solved soon (yeah, I know my english sucks sometimes...sorry).

In the city things are weird: We have really good weather but I cant be out as much as I'd love to. Need to get on my skateboard soon. This work-work-work scheulde aint good.

Got some new software: "Final Cut express 4" (thanks for the pro vs express Nima) and "Logic Express 8" to make music. Im getting deep into digital video in a minute, so watch up for some videos posted here. Also getting deep in a new project that will see the light in a few weeks. Going kind of deep into the internet thing. When you sum up fun, skateboarding, photos, video and more fun, you get what Im working with...


Limited Edition Playmobil I got in Germany. Ever since I got the Glow in the dark one in L.A with Elia and Chad, I need to get as many as I can of these Glow in the dark edition... Its a dead pirate. cant go wrong with dead pirates, I know that ever since I saw "The Goonies".
